Orientation

 

Pre-Prep Orientation

 

Towards the end of each year our new Prep students undertake a Pre-Prep Orientation program. This allows new students and their parents to familiarise themselves with Geelong Lutheran College. This orientation program usually takes place over 5 transition sessions that prove to be invaluable in ensuring that new students have a smooth start to their first year at school. The first 3 sessions involve parents and students, while the last two sessions are for students to experience school by themselves.

 

Orientation for Year 7 students

 

Towards the end of each year new Year 7 students undertake an Orientation program. This allows new students and their parents to familiarise themselves with Geelong Lutheran College. This orientation program usually takes place over a day and proves to be invaluable in ensuring that new students have a smooth start to their first year of secondary school.

 

Orientation for all other Grades

 

An Orientation program is also offered for students beginning in all grades other than Prep and Year 7. This is usually held on the same day as the Year 7 Orientation, and will be an invaluable time to ensure that all new students have a smooth transition to their schooling at Geelong Lutheran College.
